Micah Player captured voter sentiment on instagram with his artwork titled “Blue Wave,” which has garnered nearly 900k likes as of this writing.
Micah said, “The wave itself is the biggest visual element, but I think what really makes that drawing work is the disregard of the figure, looking in the wrong direction, confident that his little umbrella will keep him dry from what will only be a little sprinkle…”
Blue Wave was a follow up to his post of Lady Liberty, with her torch out, sitting in an alley with a bunch of voters approaching her asking if she needs a light.
Micah frequently posts political art on social media, promoting compassion and equality.
