Chamisa Kellogg is an illustrator, author and surface pattern designer based in Portland, Oregon. She loves creating characters with spectacular imaginations, curiosity, vulnerability and bravery. Her stories often focus on the magic and curiosity found in everyday life, and celebrate compassion, hope and connection. Chamisa has illustrated several picture books, is working on her first graphic novel with HarperAlley, and loves to animate her own book trailers. She has participated in gallery shows in the US and Europe and is active in her local art and design community. When not making art, Chamisa might be found digging in the garden, baking bagels, or picking up one of her many in-progress sewing or knitting projects.
