Illustrations by Elisa Chavarri from Alpacas Here, Alpacas There (Simon & Schuster) by Carrie Tillotson will be featured in an exhibition at the Eric Carle Museum entitled Weaving Words: Fiber Arts and Picture Books. The exhibit explores the connection between fiber arts and picture books over the past 60 years of illustration history, taking a closer look at how artists have experimented with materials to replicate intricate textures and even used the fiber arts themselves. It will be on display from November 21, 2026 – May 2, 2027.
