Bio
Julia Woolf studied graphics and illustration in the UK. After graduating, she began working in the animation industry in London. She relocated to LA to work for Dreamworks in the mid 1990s. While at Dreamworks, Julia contributed to such films as Shrek 1 & 2 , Madagascar, and Flushed Away. In 2003, one of Julia’s illustrations
was a top ten finalist in the New York Showcase for the SCBWI winter conference. The honor of being in the top ten gave Julia the courage to make the leap from animation to children’s illustration, a field for which she felt great passion. Julia and her family returned to the United Kingdom in 2006. One of Julia’s favorite recent projects was designing the stage set for the Laurie Berkner Band.
