Betsy Thompson began her career as an artist and illustrator in 2007, regularly showing in galleries throughout New England. One of her primary goals as a mixed media artist is to make art more accessible and to engage her viewers, adults and children alike, by drawing them in through the use of color, movement, shapes, and story telling. She has created artwork for Galison and Anthropologie, and her first illustrated book is due out from Blue Apple Books in 2012.
