Bio
Mark Rogalski was born and raised among the hills of Philadelphia, PA, in a paved, urban wonderland where one’s imagination was encouraged to run wild. The imagination he fostered in his youth is clearly visible in his unique and inventive books for children, which are reminiscent of the Steam Punk style.
Mark incorporates creative design elements into all his projects to make them interactive. Dream Machines includes a dust jacket that unfolds into an elaborate board, allowing readers to live the fantastical journey of the book themselves through a game. Each spread of Tickets to Ride includes a duck hidden somewhere in the scene, making it wonderful to read again and again. Mark’s Robox kit is comprised of both a book and materials for a child to build his or her very own Robox.
Mark’s artwork inspires young readers to embark on imaginative journeys of their own.
